PROTECTION FROM KEYLOGGERS AND SPYWARE

Mateyko is not visible for keyloggers as the user does not use the keyboard during login.

A major problem for internet users is exposure to password theft by spyware and malicious „sniffer” programs. When such software enters your computer, it starts monitoring all your activities. One of the functions such programs monitor is the activity of your keyboard. When you enter a login and password using your keyboard, such malware programs are capable of sending them to their author, who subsequently gains access to your private and sensitive data.

Mateyko protects from such activities as it enters appropriate data in relevant fields; this makes it invisible for spyware programs. As an effect, the spyware program does not notice you entering login data at all. All communications between Mateyko and web browser occurs in encrypted form, therefore eavesdropping is impossible due to the extremely small quantity and high variability of sent data so that possible spyware programs cannot steal them.

We can therefore state that Mateyko protects from spyware attacks.
