To streamline and speed up the work with the program, we have added some functions useful in day-to-day work

It occurs sometimes that you previously entered login data for a website and when entering the website, the „login data available” notifier window will not show. There are two possible causes.

1. The web browser has not inform the program that the website has been loaded.
Occasionally the web browser will not inform the program that a website has been loaded; in such cases Mateyko will not know whether to display the notifier or not.
If this occurs, do the following:
1. Right-click the Mateyko icon near the system clock. 2. A context menu will appear.
3. Select the option to log in again from the context menu.

Now the program will attempt to log you in again and it login data are available, they will appear in the lower right-hand area of the screen.

2. The domain you are visiting has not been associated with the existing login data.
For security reasons, Mateyko only saves data for websites that have been entered into the program. It occurs occasionally that website designers, in order to increase popularity of their sites, place them under several different domain names. When for instance you enter www.o2.pl into the address bar of your website and then enter o2.pl  - you will end up viewing the same website. However, Mateyko will see these addresses as two separate websites.
Therefore whenever you enter a website to which Mateyko has login data stored, you probably are in a domain different than the one for which you entered your login data previously.

To resolve this:
1. Right-click the Mateyko icon near the system clock. 2. A context menu will appear.
3. Choose “Add domain” from the context menu
Mateyko will display a window with a list of stored data and will ask you to select an option to be used when logging in to the website.

3. How to create a backup copy
(this function is available in the commercial version)
Creating backup copies protects from uncontrolled data loss. The data file is saved to the computer's hard drive or on a removable USB flash drive. If this medium is lost (hardware failure, virus attack etc.) data are lost irretrievably. If you choose to backup your data on server, the program will create a backup copy and send it to the Mateyko server every time you change any of your login data. To do this, click the "Personal information" section in the main program window and check the "I want to backup my data to server " field.

If your data are lost you can securely download your data to your computer’s hard drive by selecting the option "Download identity profile from server" in main menu

Thanks to this, your data will not be lost in the case of hardware failure or system reinstallation.
